Battle Creek, Michigan
One kid. One tutor.
Every single week.
CoreLogic Learning is in-person, one-to-one tutoring in math and reading for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Your child sees the same tutor every time, so they build a real relationship instead of starting over.
From kindergarten phonics and counting to fifth grade multiplication, fractions, and reading comprehension, our tutors meet your child at exactly their level. It is genuine one-on-one help with math and reading, in person here in Battle Creek, never online and never in a crowded group.
In person in Battle Creek. Serving Marshall, Portage, Kalamazoo, and the surrounding areas.

What we do
Two subjects. Done properly.
We do not try to be everything. CoreLogic Learning teaches math and reading to kindergarten through 5th grade students, one child at a time, in person in Battle Creek. Two subjects, taught by a tutor who learns your child by name and remembers exactly where the last session left off.
Math tutoring, K–5
Math builds one step at a time, and a single missing brick can make the whole subject feel impossible. We find the gap, fill it, and rebuild your child’s confidence from there, at a pace that finally makes sense to them.
- Counting, number sense, and place value
- Addition, subtraction, and math-fact fluency
- Multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
- Word problems, telling time, money, and measurement
Reading tutoring, K–5
Reading is the skill every other subject leans on. We start wherever your child is, from first sounds to full chapter books, and turn reading from the hardest part of the day into something they actually reach for.
- Phonics, phonemic awareness, and decoding
- Sight words, vocabulary, and spelling
- Fluency and reading aloud with confidence
- Comprehension, retelling, and early writing
Whether your child is catching up, getting ahead, or getting ready for the next grade, every math and reading session is planned around them, never pulled from a one-size-fits-all worksheet packet.
Why one to one
It is never a group. Not once.
Most tutoring is a room of kids sharing one adult and a stack of worksheets. That is not what happens here. Your child gets the whole hour, and the whole tutor.
- One child and one tutor at the table. Nobody waits their turn.
- The same tutor every week, so your child is known, not processed.
- The hour is built around your child, not a packet everyone shares.
How it works
Three steps. That is the whole thing.

Sixty minutes, once or twice a week, same time and same tutor every visit.
Meet the tutors
Two tutors your child will look forward to.
For a service where someone works one on one with your child, this is the part that matters most. Here is who they will be sitting with.

Miss Crystal
Tutor
Patient, upbeat, and a little bit silly in the best way. Crystal has a gift for making the hard part feel doable.

Miss Tiffany
Tutor, and the person who answers when you call
Tiffany reads every message and books every tour herself. Your first hello will most likely be with her.
From parents
Parents talk. Here is what they say.
My son used to hide his backpack so we could skip homework. Now he asks when his next session is. I did not expect that.
Having the same tutor every week made all the difference. She actually knows my daughter now.
We toured three places. This was the only one where my kid did not want to leave at the end.
Homeschool families
Homeschooling? We are your daytime backup.
You run the curriculum. We give one subject the specialist attention it needs. We have weekday daytime hours, which most tutoring centers do not.
